Job Summary
Perform plant cleaning per the Master Sanitation Schedule, utilizing powered lifts, power washers, steamers, and vacuums to sanitize process equipment and maintain general housekeeping. Disassemble and reassemble machines, pumps, filters, and slurry equipment while adhering to Good Manufacturing Policies and allergen elimination procedures. Operate floor scrubbers and trash compactors safely, read Safety Data Sheets for chemical handling, and assist with spill containment and pest control reporting. Collect recyclables, mix chemical concentrates, and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives like 5S. Works independently with no direct supervision, requiring frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Mandatory overtime may be required. Located in Hanover, Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment
- Lock-out Tag-out trained
- BBP (blood borne pathogens) trained
