Job Summary
Conduct heavy cleaning duties including floors, walls, ceilings, dusting, and trash removal while maintaining a sanitary, orderly environment. Operate forklifts and floor scrubbing equipment per SOPs, perform daily concentration and hygiene checks on chemicals, and manage the Master Sanitation Schedule. Confer with management and production personnel on sanitation issues to recommend equipment or practice changes that prevent product contamination. Adhere strictly to safety and GMP policies, ensuring proper waste removal and dedicated tool usage. Requires excellent observation skills, self-starting capability, and ability to work independently in a physical agricultural setting.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in English language, written and spoken
- Ability to be a self-starter and perform without full time supervision
- Teamwork oriented
- Time management skills
- Must be responsible and self-managed
- Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills
- Independent worker able to plan and prioritize workflow
- Strong attention to detail
- High school diploma/GED
- 1-3 years
- Ability to lift and carry fifty pounds unaided on a regular basis
- Ability to work 10 to 20 feet off the ground using ladders
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time depending on your position and/or getting up and down through your work shift
- Good understanding of GMPs
- Excellent observation and auditing skills
