Job Summary
Lead, coach, and develop the sanitation team to maintain and continuously improve the facility sanitation program in alignment with CFIA, HACCP, GMPs, allergen controls, and company food safety standards. Own the sanitation documentation and execution across all production areas and shifts, including developing SSOPs, maintaining the Master Sanitation Schedule, and supporting regulatory and customer audits. Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Safety to drive sanitation excellence, audit readiness, and continuous improvement while managing chemical handling, safety, and environmental responsibilities. Demonstrate floor leadership, conduct onboarding/training, and lead corrective actions to sustain a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of sanitation leadership experience within a food manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of CFIA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, allergen control, and food safety systems
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing or processing facility
- Working knowledge of sanitation chemicals, CIP/COP systems, environmental sanitation, and cleaning validation practices
- Experience supporting regulatory and third-party audits preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production/manufacturing systems
