Job Summary
Sanitation Supervisor at Tyson Foods Waterloo Plant, 3rd shift (10:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.), salaried with potential 5% annual incentive. Responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production machinery and equipment; ensures safe and compliant operations per Tyson and USDA policies; performs hydraulics, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical work, welding; sets up/adjusts/breaks down production line machinery; completes daily documentation; adheres to safety and food-safety standards; participates in required safety, HACCP, HR topics, LOTO, PIT trainings; physical requirements include lifting 70+ lbs, working in extreme temperatures, PPE usage; relocation assistance available; internal candidates encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or on-the-job training
- Six months of continuous employment within the last 4 years
- At least six months of mechanic work experience or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (must be documented in the work history)
- Ability to report to work on time and work full assigned schedule
- Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
- Ability to read manuals and follow safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to climb stairs and work in varied temperatures
- Must reside in the United States; sponsorship not available
