Job Summary
Sanitation Supervisor overseeing the day-to-day sanitation/cleaning of plant production equipment and facility to meet food-safety standards, with responsibilities including training, performance appraisal, rewards/discipline, and contractor oversight. Leads development of cleaning procedures (SSOPs, logs), ensures compliance with safety and GMP/USDA policies, coordinates with maintenance and QA on sanitation-related issues, and ensures sanitation quality, efficiency, and contract worker duties meet standards on the 3rd shift. Requires strong attention to detail, ability to work long shifts, and ability to work in a fast-paced food-manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience in the food industry, food industry sanitation experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
- HACCP certification preferred
