Sanitation Superintendent

Oversee sanitation programs across the Pilgrim’s poultry processing plant, providing direction and support to sanitation supervisors and hourly staff to ensure all sanitation activities are completed safely, correctly, and on schedule. Train, coach, and develop sanitation staff; plan, assign, and direct daily work while evaluating performance. Maintain records and ensure communication across shifts. Ensure compliance with Pilgrim’s procedures, USDA regulations, OSHA requirements, and food safety standards; coordinate with USDA on sanitation matters; monitor chemicals and supplies; assist with budgeting and cost control; support continuous improvement and operations. Strong leadership, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to address issues proactively are essential.
