Job Summary
Sanitation Specialist - 2nd Shift responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, facilities, and controlled environments in cGMP-compliant manner. Perform routine and deep cleaning of production areas and equipment per SOPs, prepare and use cleaning agents with correct dilution/labeling/storage, disassemble/reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning, document cleaning activities (logs, checklists, batch records), support environmental monitoring and contamination control, proper handling and disposal of waste and hazardous materials, maintain cleanliness in controlled environments (e.g., cleanrooms), and participate in audits/inspections. Requires attention to safety procedures, cGMP guidelines, strong documentation accuracy, good communication and teamwork, ability to work independently, and physical ability to stand, lift up to 40–50 lbs, and wear PPE. Preferred: FDA-regulated environment experience, contamination control knowledge, and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous sanitation or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic understanding of cGMP regulations
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
