Job Summary
Sanitation Associate responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the warehouse and facility, including freezer and cooler areas, waste removal, spill response, and routine cleaning. Duties include aisle sweeping, removing trash from freezer and cooler zones, promptly cleaning spills to maintain safe walking surfaces, keeping warehouse docks clean, regularly emptying trash, upholding sanitation standards in indoor/outdoor/freezer/cooler environments, and assisting with additional sanitation and facility tasks. Requires ability to operate a forklift and perform other related duties as assigned; must work in a fast-paced environment with reliable attendance and adherence to safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in sanitation, janitorial, or custodial work preferred
- Prior experience operating a stand-up forklift preferred
- Previous warehouse experience required; foodservice industry experience preferred
- Ability to work in diverse environments including freezer, cooler, warehouse, and outdoor areas
- Ability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds
- Prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending, stooping, reaching
- Safe operation of forklift equipment
