Job Summary
Inspect equipment in their area to ensure proper cleaning and report any damage to supervision. Assist in other departmental areas as needed while adhering to company standards, GMPs, and safety rules regarding chemicals and dress code. Perform duties requiring the ability to lift approximately 50 pounds, bend, squat, and climb repeatedly for an entire shift with extensive hand use and long periods of standing in varying environments including waste, debris, and extreme temperatures. Maintain knowledge of all equipment and cleaning procedures (SSOP) to support core competencies in safety, quality, yield, cost, and relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds (occasionally more)
- Ability to bend, squat, and climb repeatedly for an entire shift
- Ability to adapt to varying work environments, such as waste, debris, wet, and cold or hot temperature
- Ability to ascend/descend/work at various heights
- Oral communication
- Critical thinking
- Adherence to Company standards
- Knowledge of all equipment and cleaning procedures (SSOP)
- Knowledge of chemicals in plant
- Good knowledge of GMP's
- Knowledge of dress code
- Knowledge of safety rules
