Job Summary
Perform sanitation and cleaning duties throughout the bakery, including surfaces, equipment, and machinery, while disposing of waste and scraps. Utilize tools such as mops, vacuums, and pressure washers to maintain a safe environment, occasionally using scissor lifts and ladders for maintenance. Coordinate cleaning tasks with production schedules to minimize equipment downtime, ensuring thorough attention to detail for food safety standards. Work in a high-temperature, fast-paced setting, maintaining reliable attendance for any day or shift, including holidays. Join the union within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in similar sanitation duties at a large commercial or artisan bakery is preferred.
- Work experience in other similar commercial sanitation or industrial cleaning environment may substitute.
- Ability to work in a high temperature environment supporting fast paced machinery.
- Ability to quickly learn new job tasks and flexibility to work in different jobs as needed.
