Job Summary
Lead the 3rd shift sanitation team to ensure the plant is fully cleaned, sanitized, and released to production safely each night. Apply pathogen and food safety knowledge to identify contamination risks and enforce compliance with HACCP, GMP, and SSOP requirements while managing chemical inventory and safety protocols. Coordinate with QA leadership to resolve food safety issues and maintain accurate documentation. Build and coach a cohesive overnight team through hands-on training and performance feedback. Requires 3-5 years in food manufacturing, HACCP certification preferred, and ability to work overnight shifts in a cold environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- 3-5 years of experience in a food and beverage manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Demonstrated ability to build or manage a team
- track record of leading employees across shifts
- Strong working knowledge of pathogens, food-borne illness, and contamination risk in a food production setting
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work overnight (3rd shift) in a cold/damp environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Bilingual English/Spanish

- RTE experience
