Job Summary
Conduct daily sanitation inspections, environmental monitoring, and routine audits to ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards at the Reno, NV manufacturing facility. Provide daily direction to sanitation team members, manage task assignments, and coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to resolve sanitation concerns. Execute the Master Sanitation Schedule, verify documentation accuracy, and lead root cause investigations for corrective actions. Assist with onboarding training, promote food safety culture, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant sanitation performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: 3 years of experience in food manufacturing
- 1 years of experience in food manufacturing sanitation
- Fluent in English communications. (Verbal, Written, Reading)
- Proficient with computer software and data entry
- GED / high school diploma with one of the following 3 years of experience in food manufacturing 1 years of experience in food manufacturing sanitation
- Able to stand and walk 7+ hours of an 8-hour shift
- Able to lift 35lbs on occasion
- Maintain composure in stressful situations
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in food manufacturing
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality control or 1 year of experience in leadership within food manufacturing
- Some experience with EMP risk assessment
- Ability to present results and sanitation initiatives to an audience of 5-15 individuals
- Familiarity with FDA regulations
- Bachelor of Science (Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Sciences)
