Job Summary
Sanitation Labor for 3rd shift at Amherst plant; responsibilities include operating/disassembling equipment, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, using a pressure hose, scouring equipment, sanitizing with disinfectant, oiling as needed, cleaning lights/pipes/refrigeration units, handling and recording data on cleaning chemicals, and complying with safety, GMP, and SQF requirements. Must be able to perform physical tasks (lift up to 40 pounds, frequent bending/reaching), work in hot/cold damp environments, and be available for overtime and weekend hours. Shift is 11:00 PM–7:30 AM with a $1 shift differential and starting pay of $20.85/hour. Tyson Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
