Job Summary
Clean and sanitize all areas of the production area, including equipment, lines, machines, floors, ceiling, lighting fixtures, and fans, while removing trash. Operate high-pressure hoses and chemical solutions in accordance with USDA, HACCP, and QA pre-op protocols. Perform other duties assigned by the manager, including assembling and unassembling lines. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to Tyson policies, obtaining LOTO, fall protection, and PIT training as required. Wear proper personal protective equipment and be prepared to work overtime, weekends, and accommodate shift start time changes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work overtime and weekends
- Willingness to accommodate shift start time changes
- Willingness and ability to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Willingness and ability to lift up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand
- Willingness and ability to be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty conditions
- Ability to obtain LOTO (lockout tagout) training
- Ability to obtain fall protection training
- Ability to obtain PIT (if needed) training
- Completion of background check
