Job Summary
The Sanitation Technician performs cleaning of production equipment as assigned and reports any equipment breakage to the Sanitation Supervisor or Quality Control. This hands-on role requires adhering to safety rules and compliance with food safety standards like HACCP, GMP, and SOP. Responsibilities include scrubbing and rinsing machinery alongside preparing for USDA inspection. Candidates must have the physical ability to handle demanding tasks in varying temperature conditions, including evening shifts and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy physical activity
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, carry, hold tools and hoses, crouch, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull
- Ability to work evening shifts, Saturdays, and overtime
- Able to work in hot, bloody and dirty environments
Desired Qualifications
- Two years prior experience in a food manufacturing and sanitation setting preferred
