Job Summary
Disassemble and clean production equipment to comply with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and USDA guidelines, eliminating contamination sources and maintaining low bacteria counts. Operate sanitation equipment using multiple chemicals while adhering to Safety, Quality, BOS, 5S, and Area Ownership protocols. Tear down and set up machinery, work from heights up to 30 feet, and perform physical tasks in hot, cold, or wet environments while wearing correct PPE. Report damaged or unsafe equipment and take simple directions in a team environment. Requires Lock out/Tag out certification, knowledge of MSDS sheets, and ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs. Flex schedule around production times, including overtime, with shifts running 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM in Troy, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of multiple chemicals and sanitation procedures in food safety
- Knowledgeable of all chemicals and MSDS sheets
- Ability to lift 50 to 75lbs
- Certification of Lock out/Tag out
- Ability to work from heights up to 30 feet
- Ability to take simple directions
- Ability to multi task
- Ability to work in a hot or cold/wet/steamy environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks
