Job Summary
Sanitation Clerk responsible for creating and managing SSOPs, maintaining sanitation records, overseeing the Master Sanitation Schedule, tracking inventory of detergents and PPE, assisting in training sanitation crew on chemical handling, GMPs, and food safety requirements, ensuring safety compliance with PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures, and acting as the primary liaison between production, maintenance, and QA to address facility hygiene challenges. Knowledge of sanitation, GMPs, and quality requirements; experience with SAP (desired); AA/BA in Chemistry preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, GMP, and quality requirements within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
