Job Summary
Sanitation Team Member at Winland Foods plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, food-safe production environment. Responsibilities include assisting with routine and non-routine sanitation activities, ensuring equipment is clean and food-safe, performing daily inspections and preventive maintenance on sanitation equipment, following GMP/SQF/HACCP/FSMA policies, arranging material holds and retention sampling, communicating sanitation results to other teams, leading 5S efforts, supporting SOP development and training, and collaborating across departments to improve sanitation effectiveness. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking most of the shift, basic computer skills (SAP, MS Office), and adherence to safety policies; scheduling is Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm in Milwaukee, WI with competitive benefits and experience-based pay.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in manufacturing or food production sanitation preferred
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand/walk up to 90% of shift
- Proficiency in SAP, hand scanners, and basic math skills
- Safety knowledge of GMP, SQF, HACCP, FSMA
- English communication ability
