Sanitation and Production Technician

Job Summary
Operate production equipment including mixers, dividers, and palletizers while loading, unloading, and stacking materials throughout the manufacturing process. Clean and sanitize machinery, production areas, and facility surfaces according to established schedules and manufacturer guidelines. Maintain product quality standards, identify food safety concerns, and report hazards or equipment issues promptly. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, and workplace safety requirements while working in hot, cold, or loud environments. Adapt quickly to changing production needs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations
- Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assignments
- Commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
- Must be able to safely stand for extended periods of time throughout the shift
- Must be able to frequently walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, and reach
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to push and pull carts weighing up to 300 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders as needed
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions involving hands, arms, and shoulders
- Must be able to work around production equipment and cleaning systems for shifts of 8 hours or longer
