Job Summary
Conduct cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, including dry pickup zones, using high-pressure hoses and various chemicals to foam and scrub floors. Assemble and disassemble equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and SQF 2000 principles. Perform tasks assigned by the Lead, Supervisor, or Superintendent, including visually checking areas for cleanliness and working closely with Quality Assurance and USDA. Work the 3rd shift from 9 PM until finished, Monday through Friday with possible Saturday hours, in temperatures up to 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours
- Ability to become certified in Tyson's Lock Out/Tag Out program
- Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment
- Familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals
- Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred candidates will have at least 6 MThs of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience
