Job Summary
As a Sandwich Maker at Snarf's Sandwiches, you will prepare and assemble sandwiches and salads according to recipes, provide excellent customer service, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain workspace cleanliness. The position requires strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and a collaborative team attitude. Previous culinary experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Flexible scheduling includes part-time (minimum 14 hours) and full-time (minimum 30 hours) shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach to service
- Comfortable with bussing tasks, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and processing orders accurately
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic cafe setting
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment
- High energy, positive attitude, and team player
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow direction and accept constructive feedback
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Prior experience in a grocery store or similar food service environment
- Prior experience in the culinary or food industry
Additional Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record, personal vehicle, and insurance for delivery drivers
