Job Summary
Prepare meal items accurately per specification by multitasking and learning from mistakes to help other departments. Work within a team serving scratch-baked bread, pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with whole ingredients. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation standards. Shifts vary weekly based on customer traffic, running from 7am to 11pm Monday through Saturday. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Required Qualifications
- Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for the Sandwich Maker role at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe
- Flexible schedule standards -- Sandwich Maker shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year. Shifts start as early as 7am & end as late as 11pm Monday - Saturday
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years kitchen/work experience (this is preferred but not required)
- A "can do" attitude- the ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
- Understand how to multitask- learn from mistakes, & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked
