Job Summary
As part of the Subway Team, the Sandwich Artist will focus on providing an excellent Guest experience, preparing and serving fresh food, keeping the restaurant clean, and being a collaborative team player. Key duties include working with Guests to recommend meal options and fulfill orders from start to finish, upholding food safety standards, and maintaining a pleasant restaurant atmosphere with teammates. The role involves understanding and following written and verbal instructions, operating the POS system, and physical tasks such as bending, standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds. This position offers opportunities for brand discounts, scholarships, university-credit options, and hands-on experience in the restaurant business. Full Time/Part Time and Day/Evening/Weekend Shift positions vary by location.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Some high school or equivalent
- Experience: No previous experience required
- Essential Functions: Understand and implement written and verbal instruction
- Physical: Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
