Job Summary
Blast tanks, shrouds, and frames to remove dirt, grease, paint, and other built-up material using steel shot media within the blast booth. Set up and operate sandblasting equipment while logging all completed work and adhering to procedure orders for turning the booth on and off. Clean the booth as directed and wear proper personal protective equipment at all times. Perform other duties as assigned, including pushing rolling loads of parts and climbing ladders. Requires previous sandblasting experience, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift 50lbs. Night shift rotation Monday through Thursday from 8:00 pm to 6:30 am in Dixon, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work
- Must be able to push a rolling load of parts
- Must be able to kneel and crouch and climb ladders
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Permanent Full-Time Role
- Based in Dixon, IL
- Night Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00 pm- 6:30am
