Job Summary
Sandblast/Powder Coat General Laborer on 2nd shift responsible for shoveling or pouring sand/grit into blasting equipment, monitoring abrasive supply, preparing surfaces for powder coat including etching, rinsing, and sanding, masking areas, lifting and setting up heavy parts/equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Reads part prints, follows written instructions, and collaborates with team or works independently. Maintains and services sandblasting equipment, performs basic preparation for paint shop, and complies with safety and reporting requirements. Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:30 PM–1:00 AM with overtime on Fridays; background and drug screen required; ATF firearm possession requirements apply. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience operating machinery
- 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing, industrial machine shop, or related work environment
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and comprehend part prints
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work on a team or independently
