Job Summary
Receive and log samples with complete chain-of-custody records, verify shipment conditions, and reconcile discrepancies against manifests. Prepare traceable aliquots through homogenization, dilutions, extractions, and aseptic transfers while maintaining storage integrity and preventing cross-contamination. Operate receipt and preparation equipment, document all steps in LIMS, and segregate waste per safety protocols. Support audits, manage rush queues, and flag deviations for investigation. Located in Minnesota near Roseville with standard hours and occasional flexibility for rush receipts.
Required Qualifications
- Located in Minnesota within a reasonable distance from Roseville, MN
- BS in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food/Environmental Science, or related field
- 3+ years in a lab or regulated operations environment
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, ALCOA+, and LIMS
- Accurate weighing/volumetrics
- Serial dilutions
- Basic extractions/digestions
- Aseptic technique fundamentals
- Balance/pipette verification
- Temperature monitoring
