Job Summary
Independently weigh prepared pulp for the analysis of geological samples using analytical balances, following established procedures and schedules to ensure analytical quality. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report safety concerns. Operate and maintain balances, inspect pulp samples for homogeneity, report quality concerns to supervision, locate and update client samples via Webview, and assist in training new employees. Contribute ideas for safety, quality, or productivity improvements and support digestion run batches and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months’ work experience in a production-oriented environment
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs
- Manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks
- Basic English communication skills required (verbal and written)
- Able to work in team setting
- Quality and detail-oriented individual
- Ability to work independently or under supervision
