Job Summary
Conduct hair, blood, nail, and DNA sample collections at pre-booked appointments within a two-hour radius of your home address, primarily at solicitor's offices, local authority offices, or donor homes. Maintain client relationships as the public face of Lextox while ensuring all procedures follow ISO17025 quality management system requirements and operating protocols. Provide legal statements at the point of collection and complete mandatory training. This ad hoc, zero-hours role requires a professional UK phlebotomist with recent venepuncture experience, a full driving licence with own insured vehicle, and Hepatitis B vaccination.
Required Qualifications
- Professional qualification as a Phlebotomist
- Recent experience in various venepuncture techniques (predominately vacutainer and butterfly)
- Ability to collect samples in non-clinical settings
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own access to a vehicle with business insurance
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Phlebotomy, post qualification
- Proof of Phlebotomy competency
- Hepatitis B vaccination
