Same Day Surgery/PACU RN

Registered Nurse in Same Day Surgery/PACU providing professional nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting. Responsibilities include modifying patient plans of care based on data, applying evidence-based practice, delegating according to scope of practice, validating plans with interprofessional teams and families, and delivering education to patients and families. Requires flexible, high-stress clinical performance, strong communication, critical thinking, adherence to ethical and professional standards, and participation in ongoing professional development. Rotating schedule includes 4 weeks dayshift and 4 weeks nights; 36 hours per week with no weekends or call. Must hold an active RN license and obtain BLS within 30 days; one year of nursing experience preferred. WVUHS facility details and equal opportunity employment statements are included.
