Job Summary
CNA support role in a Day Surgery Center: assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders, and ambulation; measures and documents vitals and intake/output; documents in EMR; participates in admission/transfer/discharge processes; assists with patient positioning, transport, nutrition, skin care, and wound care; collects specimens and supports post-procedure care; must hold BLS and a state Nurse Aide credential; education required includes GED/HSED or HS diploma; schedule includes three 8-hour shifts per week (part-time) with start times 0430–1100 and pay range $20.80-$31.20 hourly; environment includes hospital-based responsibilities and patient-care duties with compliance to infection control and documentation requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Nurse Aide in good standing in the State Registry
- Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or High School Graduate
