Job Summary
Normalize Software Models by validating Publisher, Product, Version, Edition, and Product Type fields while confirming Licensable/Non-Licensable status and suite parent relationships. Clean up the repository by identifying and retiring duplicate or obsolete models, ensuring no dependencies exist before removal. Validate and associate entitlement records with correct models by reviewing license metrics, quantities, and supporting contract information. Run reconciliation cycles to identify unmatched installations and unallocated entitlements, then correct inaccurate classifications and Discovery Model mappings. This 20-week engagement supports a client integrating SAP Ariba with ServiceNow HAM and SAM Pro to normalize entitlements and fix manual setup issues.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro repository management
- Experience with software model normalization, cleanup, and entitlement-to-model association
- Strong understanding of license reconciliation processes and compliance validation
