Senior Analyst leads Software Asset Management governance, serving as the control tower for governance, independent validation, and data integrity across licensing decisions; drives cross-functional alignment with SAM, Procurement, and Contract Management; provides validation of reconciliation outcomes, optimizes license utilization, and ensures compliance, audit readiness, and cost optimization across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 6-9+ years in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or Technology Governance
- Strong experience in SAM governance, compliance, and license management
- Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Core Skills: deep understanding of software licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, SaaS)
- Strong knowledge of SAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow)
- Proven ability to design and implement governance frameworks and controls
- Strong analytical and data validation capabilities
- Experience in audit support and compliance management
- Soft Skills: stakeholder management and influencing, strategic thinking, attention to detail, excellent communication skills
