Salvage Material Handler

Job Summary
Salvage Material Handler Associate responsible for moving donations between stores and warehouses, sorting and stacking merchandise, loading/unloading trucks, assisting drivers, and maintaining safe, organized dock and yard areas. Requires 1 year of driving experience, Arizona driver license (and DOT considerations), ability to operate forklifts, lift gates, and hand trucks, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Must be able to stand for long periods, bend and lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varied weather. Performs inventories, provides donors receipts, maintains security of donated merchandise, and supports other areas as required. Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- at least 1 year of related driving experience
- valid Arizona Driver license
- driving record meets insurance requirements
- DOT card (can be obtained)
- ability to drive a two-ton truck
- flexible hours including nights and weekends
- ability to work in all weather conditions
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- lift at least 50 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead
- experience with forklifts, lift gates, and hand trucks
- drive trucks as needed
