Salt Water Disposal Operator-Cambridge

Job Summary
Operate and maintain salt water disposal wells and related equipment to ensure safe, economical, and compliant disposal operations. Monitor, maintain, and report on wells; inspect properties and equipment; manage loads and data entries; perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment (pumps, motors, valves, meters, well heads). Coordinate with Well Operations Supervisor and HSE representatives; participate in safety meetings; adhere to DOT, EPA, OSHA, and company safety guidelines; complete required documentation and reports; conduct basic calculations and use Microsoft Office tools. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be willing to undergo drug screening and background checks; prior oilfield or wastewater experience preferred. 24/7 shift work and ability to operate in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six months to a year related experience and/or training in oilfield and/or waste water related fields preferred
- Vocational or equivalent training in general machinery operation or equipment usage, oil and gas production, or relevant field preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and fitness for duty test (FIT test)
- Must pass background check
- Knowledge of general water piping systems, pumps, motors, valves, meters and other related equipment preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to read and interpret manuals and safety rules
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- DOT, EPA, OSHA compliance awareness
- Safety training and willingness to participate in safety meetings
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office)
- Team-oriented work approach
- Ability to learn company-specific applications
- Physical ability to perform tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs, etc.)
