Job Summary
Conduct end-to-end client engagements for tax projects, including planning, execution, and completion. Prepare and review returns for partnership, individual, and S Corporation clients while performing tax research, consultation, and drafting client memorandums. Develop client-focused tax planning and transaction structuring concepts and actively participate in client relationship building, networking, and business development activities. This exempt role requires flexibility to work hours exceeding the standard 40-week schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 1+ years recent experience in public accounting
- CPA or Bar License
- Strong technical skills specifically with public accounting with a focus in taxes for private equity companies, partnerships, and/or LLCs
- This position may require some local and national travel
- This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, with the exception of qualified candidates who are bilingual in either Japanese and English or Chinese and English
