Job Summary
Operate front load trucks to collect commercial waste and recycling from schools, restaurants, apartment complexes, and businesses throughout Utah Valley. Follow assigned delivery and collection schedules while ensuring materials are transported and disposed of in compliance with regulations. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, working closely with Dispatch and Supervisors to complete daily routes efficiently. Interact with customers and the public in a courteous and professional manner while using a mobile tablet to send messages, attach photos, and report route issues. Start between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM with mandatory overtime including every other Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Current Class A or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Must be 22 years of age or older
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs
- Ability to push, pull, sit, stand, walk, and perform physical job duties
- Must be able to operate a mobile tablet (send messages, attach photos, report route issues)
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to communicate effectively and read/write to maintain daily records
- Mandatory overtime, including every other Saturday
- Start time between 1:00 AM - 4:00 AM
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Salt Lake County is a plus
