Job Summary
Support the Salon Director by partnering to ensure company goals and standards are met, while cheering and coaching artists and support staff through training and mentorship. Cultivate guest relationships by welcoming guests at the desk and professionally navigating complex situations to ensure a welcoming environment. Execute critical operational processes including maintaining schedules, managing time off requests, interviewing and training new employees, and assisting with departing staff. This role requires direct partnership with the location director to uphold luxury experience standards.
Required Qualifications
- Class 12 or 13 MAST Permit (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous successful management experience or lead role in a fast-paced, guest-oriented environment
- Experience mentoring employees
- Adept multi-tasking skills and the ability to goal-set and execute tasks efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skill in absorbing and sharing information clearly and constructively
- Strong social awareness, empathy, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to be a team-player
- Open scheduling availability, including weekend and evening availability
- Successful completion of a background check
