Job Summary
Salon Manager in Training accountable for recruiting and orienting store staff, meeting sales goals, and developing a high-performing sales team through training, coaching, and mentoring. Responsibilities include scheduling and assigning staff, monitoring controllable expenses, maintaining store cleanliness and presentation, building customer relationships, fostering a positive team environment, resolving customer concerns promptly, and conducting daily financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits. The role includes participating in a comprehensive training program to prepare for advancement onto the management team, with a compensation model featuring an hourly rate plus unlimited commissions and a lucrative monthly bonus program. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Able to stand, bend, walk for long periods (7+ hours)
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends
