Job Summary
Salon Manager in Training for a commission-driven leadership track in a retail salon setting. Responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising staff; meeting sales goals; coaching and mentoring sales staff; scheduling and assigning employees; managing controllable expenses; ensuring legal compliance and store readiness; building customer loyalty and a positive team environment; analyzing daily sales and expenses to maximize profitability; safeguarding cash and handling banking. Requires strong verbal and written communication, retail/customer service experience, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds; flexible availability including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7+hours per day
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
