Job Summary
Conduct daily deep cleaning and sanitization of all salon areas, including treatment tables, chairs, mirrors, floors, and fixtures. Follow strict infection control procedures in accordance with industry regulations and health guidelines. Properly disinfect and restock all tools, equipment, and surfaces between client appointments. Empty and sanitize trash and recycling bins throughout the day. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, including restocking supplies and deep cleaning as needed. Report any maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards immediately. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly and used safely. Support housekeeping operations during peak hours and special events. Requires high school diploma, proven experience in deep cleaning, and physical ability to lift heavy equipment for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Proven experience in deep cleaning and housekeeping, preferably in a salon, spa, or healthcare environment
- In-depth knowledge of infection control practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move heavy cleaning equipment for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a pristine environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning products and equipment
