Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls while achieving personal and store sales goals. Perform DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, and maintain store product and operational standards. Manage inventory processes such as truck put away, shoot outs, and cycle counts. Safely deliver parts to customers as needed, pick and stage parts for orders, and handle returns and cores. Maintain store cleanliness and perform general stocking including truck and back stock. Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Fleet safety certification

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

- Ability to use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Speak and write English
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
Desired Qualifications
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Basic part knowledge
- Good knowledge of store systems
- In-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes
- Automotive parts experience is preferred
- Spanish language ability
