Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls while achieving personal and store sales goals. Deliver parts to customers, pick and stage parts for orders, and handle returns and cores. Maintain store product and operational standards by performing inventory processes such as truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock management. Ensure store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot. Safely deliver parts as needed and assist with general stocking. Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Fleet safety certification
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Friendly communication
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Operating inventory systems and store equipment
- Operating POS and Parts lookup systems
- Expert at testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds (occasionally)

- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
- Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers
- In-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes
- Good knowledge of store systems
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Basic part knowledge
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Spanish language ability
- Automotive parts experience
