Job Summary
Salesperson, Outside Parts responsible for selling auto parts to wholesale customers at their place of business, driving to wholesale accounts to obtain new customers, maintaining customer relationships, and processing orders. Requires advanced knowledge of automotive parts, ability to provide pricing and product information, and to meet sales/productivity goals. Role emphasizes customer service, field visits to wholesale accounts, and adherence to company values and safety policies. Requires valid driver's license and regular attendance with shifts possibly including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior automotive parts experience (5+ years) and familiarity with dealership management systems and MS Office are desired, along with strong communication and reading comprehension skills.
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma
- 5+ years automotive parts experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Parts portion of Dealership Management System
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to lift up to twenty pounds
