Job Summary
Salesperson responsible for delivering excellent DIY customer service, achieving personal sales goals and helping the store reach its targets. Role includes DIY services such as battery installation and testing, wiper installations, inventory and back-stock management, truck put-away and cycle counts, and safe, accurate delivery of parts to customers. Must be able to operate inventory and POS systems, perform parts lookups, and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Requires basic math, automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus. Safety and shop-floor responsibilities include maintaining store cleanliness and proper handling of materials and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals
