Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls; achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets; perform DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs, and related servicing; maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.); ensure general store cleanliness and stocking; safely deliver parts to customers as needed; operate inventory and POS systems; leverage basic automotive knowledge to assist customers and locate parts; ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends; strong communication and customer service skills; Spanish language skills are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
- basic automotive system knowledge
- basic parts knowledge
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- ability to use basic math in all units of measure
