Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls; achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets; perform DIY services including battery installation and testing, wiper installs; manage inventory processes including truck put-away, cycle counts, and back stock; maintain store cleanliness and safety; safely deliver parts to customers; demonstrate basic driving/navigation, effective communication, and ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems; leverage expert knowledge of automotive parts and systems to assist customers and upsell services.
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level sales experience
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in retail
- Basic automotive knowledge
- Part-time or full-time availability
Desired Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Basic part knowledge
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Customer-focused sales skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work a variety of days, evenings, and weekends
