Job Summary
Salesperson position focused on delivering excellent DIY customer service and achieving sales goals. Responsibilities include providing a selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls, performing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installations), maintaining store product and inventory standards, handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), and delivering parts to customers as needed. Required skills include basic automotive system and parts knowledge, familiarity with store systems, POS operation, strong English communication (Spanish a plus), ability to work varied shifts including weekends/evenings, and 2-3 years of retail sales experience. Safety awareness and ability to use diagnostic equipment for DIY service are also noted.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Basic driving/navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Basic math skills
- English (Spanish a plus)
- Good customer communication skills
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekends
- Knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes
- Automotive parts and systems knowledge
