Job Summary
Salesperson in a DIY automotive retail environment responsible for delivering excellent selling experiences to DIY customers in person and over the phone. Roles include achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, maintaining inventory and store standards, handling deliveries, and supporting inventory processes and general stocking. Essential skills include basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with inventory and POS systems, customer communication, safe driving, and ability to work a varied schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Basic part knowledge
- Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers
- Ability to operate inventory systems and store equipment
- Experience with POS and parts lookup systems
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- English language skills; Spanish a plus
