Job Summary
Salesperson responsible for delivering excellent DIY automotive parts sales and service. Supports DIY customer visits and phone inquiries, achieves personal and store sales goals, performs battery installation, testing, and wiper installs, and manages inventory and store standards. Requires basic automotive systems/parts knowledge, 2-3 years retail sales experience, ability to source from multiple suppliers, strong communication, and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- basic driving and navigation ability
- ability to use delivery board system
- friendly communication
- ability to locate and stock parts
- safety knowledge and skills
- operating inventory systems and store equipment
- English language proficiency; Spanish a plus
- read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
- availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- experience with automotive parts and DIY services (battery installation, wiper installs)
- ability to safely deliver parts to customers
