Job Summary
Salesperson responsible for DIY customer visits and phone interactions, achieving personal and store sales goals, providing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.), and maintaining inventory and store standards. Requires basic automotive system and parts knowledge, experience in retail sales, and ability to use inventory and POS systems. Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus) and physical ability to handle stocking, deliveries, and variable scheduling (days/evenings/weekends). Fleet safety certification preferred. The role involves delivering parts to customers when needed and performing lifecycle inventory tasks such as truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, and general stocking; familiarity with safety procedures and operating inventory systems is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to operate POS and inventory systems
- Basic driving/navigation ability
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Basic math skills
